Meet Our Reading Leaders!
Each day your child will be met at Hilton Elementary by a team of professionals dedicated to delivering the best instruction possible. If your child is involved in Reading Club, he/she will work with one or more of our Reading Leaders. Your child will bring home a book each day with a quick reading activity to support what learning has occurred at school.
If you have any questions about your child's interventions, please contact your child's teacher directly.
About Tina Vincent
Hi, I’m Tina Vincent. I began working for Brighton Area Schools as a substitute teacher in 2007. This year I’m excited to be starting my 5th year at Hilton Elementary as an RtI Educational Assistant. However, I have proudly been a Hilton Hound Dog and Brighton Bulldog for much longer! My two children, Isabella and Nicolai, are former Hounds and BAS graduates. Beautiful Brighton Township is where my husband, Ron, and I continue to call home. When not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, walking our dog, traveling, and boating. I am a graduate of The University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in International Trade, but it is my love for learning and children that led me into education. I hope to transfer this same excitement towards lifelong learning to our Hilton students.
About Brenda Bonomo
I graduated with a Journalism degree from Oakland University and have been supporting learners at Hilton for 15 years. Entering the school every day instantly puts a smile on my face. I feel so privileged to spend time with so many curious, growing minds. I look forward to another year helping kids reach their potential!
About Autumn Palermo
Hi, my name is Autumn Palermo and I have been working in the district for over 11 years as a substitute teacher before starting with the RTI program in the fall of 2016. I have a teaching degree from Kent State University (Elementary and Early Childhood). My own 2 great kids were Hilton Hound Dawgs. Garrett is now a Sophomore at Michigan State University and Alexa is a Junior at BHS playing Varsity Volleyball. My husband John and I love to travel and checkout little getaway towns. We love trying new restaurants and strolling through downtown Brighton. We have an adorable Morkie named Kenzie who is spoiled rotten. Looking forward to another great year at Hilton Elementary!
